Parcel District Privacy Policy
Last updated: 24 September 2026
Parcel District (the "App") is developed and published by Buurtapp Studio ("we", "us", "our"). We are the data controller for the limited personal data we handle directly. This policy applies wherever the App is made available. The App has no account and no game server: gameplay and settings stay on your device. Limited data may be processed by Apple for purchases and optional diagnostics, and by Google when optional rewarded ads are available, as explained below.
Information the App does not collect
We do not ask for your name, physical address, contacts, photos, microphone, camera, health data, or precise device location. The App has no chat, social, or user-generated-content features. If you choose to contact support, we receive the contact information and other details you choose to include in that message.
These three pages are static informational pages. They do not set cookies or run analytics scripts. Our hosting provider may process standard technical request data, such as an IP address, browser information, requested URL, and security events, to deliver and protect the site. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
Information kept only on your device
Your company, fleet, districts, contracts, milestones, settings, and purchase entitlement state are stored locally using Apple's standard app storage. We do not receive this game-save data or operate a cloud-save service. Reset Company deletes the App's current local company data. Deleting the App removes its local container, although copies can remain in an Apple device backup until that backup is replaced or deleted.
Support correspondence
If you email us, we process your email address, message, attachments, and any device or purchase details you voluntarily provide. We use this information only to respond, troubleshoot, protect the service, and meet legal obligations. We normally delete or anonymize support correspondence within 24 months after the issue is closed, unless a longer period is required to handle a dispute or comply with law.
Legal bases and recipients
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, our legal bases for handling support correspondence are our legitimate interest in answering, securing, and improving support, taking steps you request, and complying with legal obligations. We rely on consent where we ask for it, including notification permission and the regional ad-consent choice. Apple, Google, Cloudflare, and their providers process data under their own terms and privacy notices. We do not use personal data to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.
In-app purchases (handled by Apple)
The App offers optional in-app purchases: Speed Pass and Reward Pass, each available as a 30-day pass or a one-time Lifetime purchase, and Offline Operations Boost, a 60-day pass. Purchases are sold, billed, and fulfilled by Apple through the App Store. The App verifies Apple's signed transaction information locally to unlock the applicable feature. We do not operate a purchase-verification server and do not receive or store your payment-card or billing information. Apple processes purchase data under its own Privacy Policy.
Local notifications
If you allow notifications, the App schedules a local reminder on your device when your Offline Operations window ends. This is not a remote push-notification service: we do not operate a notification server, collect a device push token, or receive notification-delivery data.
Optional rewarded ads (Google AdMob)
The App may offer a rewarded video ad in exchange for an optional in-game bonus. Watching is never required to play or progress. To provide, secure, measure, and improve these ads, Google Mobile Ads and its advertising partners may process device or app-scoped identifiers, approximate location derived from IP address, advertising data, product-interaction data such as app launches, taps and video views, performance data, crash data, and basic device and network data such as device model, operating system, language and IP address. Some of this data may be associated with a device or app-scoped identifier.
The App also asks for App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission, Apple's separate system prompt for using your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) to track you across other companies' apps or websites. If you allow tracking, Google and its advertising partners may use the IDFA to show you more relevant ads and measure their performance across apps. If you decline or have not yet been asked, the App still shows rewarded ads, only without using the IDFA for that purpose. You can change this at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. We use Google's User Messaging Platform to present the consent choices required for the player's region before requesting ads. When Google requires a privacy-options entry point, it is available in Settings > Privacy Choices. Google explains its processing at https://policies.google.com/privacy and https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Optional Apple diagnostic and usage analytics
If you have chosen in iOS to share analytics with app developers, Apple may provide us with aggregated, de-identified usage and crash trends. We cannot use these reports to identify you. You can change this in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements. The App has no separate first-party analytics or crash-reporting SDK.
Children's privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13, or below the applicable minimum age where they live. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal data, and to complain to your data-protection authority. EEA and UK residents have these rights under the GDPR or UK GDPR. Residents of California and other applicable U.S. states may have rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of certain sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can use Settings > Privacy Choices when it is shown, your device advertising controls, or Google's privacy tools for Google ad data. For data we control, contact us using the details below. Apple handles requests about App Store purchase data and Google handles requests about its advertising data.
Data retention
Local game data remains on your device unless you reset or delete it. We do not keep it on our servers. Apple and Google may retain the data they process according to their own policies.
International data transfers
Apple, Google, and our website host may process limited data outside your country, including in the United States, using the safeguards they describe for international transfers.
Security
We use Apple's platform protections for local data and rely on Apple, Google, and our website host's security measures for their services. No storage or transmission method is completely secure.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Parcel District's features change. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where required by law, presented to you again for consent.
